Gregory Becker, 34, was approached by an officer near the 100 block of Main Street Wednesday around 9 p.m., police said.
The officer recognized Becker as a wanted person out of the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office, police said.
Becker, of Hackettstown, was found to be in possession of 20 wax folds of suspected heroin, multiple wax folds with suspected heroin residue and five hypodermic needles with suspected heroin residue, police said.
He was arrested and charged with possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia and turned over to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office.
